We are excited to share the news that we will be offering camp for 8 weeks this summer to children ages 4 – 14!

Explorer Day Camp is filled each day with non-stop fun! Each day a  new experience….as well as all of our “old” camper favorites! 

New  in 2012:  Yoga, Challenge Course, Nature Study combined with Outdoor Living Skills, Farm to Table Planting and Cooking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding ,  Music & Drama (Camp Glee Style:-) and many other surprises..

Here’s  The Scoop:

• Each day is a chance for campers to learn to appreciate each other and to appreciate our natural environment
• Each child is an important person, sharing in the democratic process of the whole group.
• Camp starts with the physical skills and challenges that everyone remembers about camp, PLUS so much more! 
•  We emphasize the social, emotional and psychological growth of campers while they make physical connections with nature
• We encourage campers to take responsibilitiy for themselves and their actions, then feel better about their management skills!
• We want every camper to take home a smile each day,  lasting memories, along with new skills and new friendships.
• The best sign of our success HERE is the memories that campers share with parents at day’s end, and the invitation to join us at week’s end!

The sun has set on winter… Before we know it, summer camp will be here. Registration started April 1st and we are booking the first four weeks in July! Be sure to get your registration in early. See more details under the parent section.

Winter is slowly peeling back her covers of snow, and ”Phil” said we will have spring in six weeks…   We are ready! Bring it on!

Rich, Robert and Bobby are building a new tree house and putting in zip lines worthy of any Tarzan or Jane.  You are going to want to be here for the inaugural climb!   June 21, 2011!

Directions:

From Traverse City, take M-72 West for about nine miles to Maple City Road/Cty Rd 667. Turn right (North) and go ten miles until it ends at M-22. Turn left (West) on M-22 and go one mile to the corner of M-22 and Cty Rd 669. You will find our offices in the main farm house. We are just seven miles from Glen Arbor or M-22 and only nine miles from Leland on M-22.
